The veterans-only pitch contest held on April 30 at the USTMAX Center in Conroe, Texas, put money into the winners’ pockets. Moreover, it reflected valuable business “secret sauce” gained by all who had attended the Veterans Entrepreneurship BootCamp (VEB) workshops.

Last year’s “Coffee with Cops” event was such a success that the USTMAX Center decided to make it an annual event, scheduling the next community-building get-together for June 9 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.

The USTMAX Center will host an information session at its downtown Conroe storefront at 6:00 p.m., March 24, 2022. The session will provide information about the variety of medical field programs offered by partner HarperRand: Phlebotomy Technician, Clinical Medical Assistant and Billing & Coding Specialist.

The USTMAX Center and the Conroe Art League (CAL) announce their second bi-annual Art Contest and “Gallery” Show. In the new contest, photographers will get their chance to shine as their works attempt to evoke the theme of “horizons.”

Back by popular demand, the USTMAX Center in downtown Conroe announces its third Creative Writing Workshop led by 2011 Texas Poet Laureate Dave Parsons.

Increasingly recognized as a go-to destination for enrichment in Conroe and Montgomery County, the USTMAX Center launches the 1st Annual Vince D’Amico Memorial Poetry Reading and Open Mic event.

Presenting will be UST Professor of Philosophy and Director of the St. John Paul II Studies Institute, Dr. John Hittinger. His topic will be “St. Maximilian Kolbe as the Patron of ‘Our Difficult Century’—Discerning Authentic Innovation.”
